Application Period

There will be two application periods in 2008. The first application period ended on 31 March. Decisions are generally communicated in writing by the end of July.

In Australia, the next application period will commence on 1 August and end on 31 August 2008. It is anticipated that decisions will be communicated in writing by the end of January 2009.

In New Zealand, the next application period will commence on 1 July and end on 31 July 2008. It is anticipated that decisions will be communicated in writing by the end of December 2008.

A pre-determined amount has been allocated to the Grant Programme on an annual basis and therefore, unfortunately, not all applications can be supported. The decision made is not subject to review and reasons for the decision may or may not be given.

Applicants are urged to submit their applications well before the closing date.

Details of all grants provided by AXA may be made public.

Grant recipients may be required to sign a Grant Agreement and agree to a reporting programme in an agreeable format prior to funding being granted.
