Alternative forms of remuneration
The IFSA/FPA Industry Code of Practice on Alternative Forms of Remuneration in the Wealth Management Industry took effect in July 2004. (the Code)
The code set an industry benchmark on how alternative forms of remuneration (also known as ‘soft dollar’ benefits) are managed and disclosed by product providers and financial advisers. The code banned some forms of soft dollar benefits outright while others were allowed, but their details had to be listed in a soft dollar register, available to the public upon request.
AXA Australia maintains an Alternative Forms of Remuneration Register as required by the code. You can request a copy of the register here
(Please note that the information will be provided within 7 days of receiving the request.)
